Turkey dinner!
|
Hey hey hey! I haven't updated in a while and I apologize. I tend to hold out to see if people will comment. And then they don't so I'm forced to update! :D
On Sunday, Randy and I had an impromptu TURKEY DINNER. Mmmm. It really had nothing to do with Thanksgiving, I had been thinking about having one for a while, and Sunday presented itself as a good opportunity.
So Randy and I purchased some supplies and voila– turkey dinner!
Unfortunately, I neglected to take any pictures. Luckily, as you may or may not know, I am slightly adept at Paint and am able to present you with artist's renditions of the day's events! Wooha!
Here we have our delicious vittles! Cranberry sauce, peas, mashed potatoes, and of course– TURKEY. Mmm... doesn't it look TASTY? Oh yes it does.
|
Here are the various members of our dinner party:
Randy– dumping the entire contents of the gravy boat onto his plate. Also note his stylish Toys R Us T-shirt that he got while working there during the holiday season last year. I guess he was feeling nostalgic. He insists it's because it's a thick shirt and it was cold on Sunday, but we all know the truth! :)
Mike– Mmm... delicious meat. And 85% of the cranberry sauce is on his plate. Mmm.. cranberry sauce...
Jenna– M likes turkey dinner too! :)
Jason– Quoting every single lyric and scene from Pee Wee's Big Adventure (No I'm not kidding, we were DYING!) :D

After dinner, we played a rousing game of Killer Bunnies. It was quite a fun game, and to Randy's dismay, we all ganged up on him because if we didn't, all of our bunnies would die horrible, horrible deaths. And it didn't help that he got The White Stuff card in the first 2 seconds of the game. Bastard!
Brandie stopped by during the game and helped me out. She's still learning how to play so I hope we were able to give her some tips.
And at the end of the game, as Randy dramatically read off each of the non-winning carrots, we waited with baited breath to find out the winner was...
Jason! Hooray!
We're assholes, we were just happy it wasn't Randy. Sorry, honey. :)

|
Here are Brandie's adorable children, eating ice cream and watching Pee Wee:
Indigo– being adorable, as usual.
Montana– taking notes on how to be the perfect, angst-filled, sarcastic teenager that Mike, Randy, and Jason still act like... :D
and Ford– posing for the camera and thoroughly enjoying his watermelon sherbet. :)
|
Then a bear came and scared all the Simms family away! Oh no! I hope they're okay!
(don't worry, there wasn't any real bear, but it's my blog so I can say whatever I want- screw you! :D)

Not too long after the bear left, Jenna and Jason had to head out as well. So Randy, Mike and I watched...
Say it with me now...
No, not Pee Wee!
Yes, BATMAN! This time it was the animated movie. It was quite good. (of course, being Batman and all, how could it NOT be good?)

|
Then I made some nachos.
Mmm...nachos...
|
|
And then a giant robot came and blew up the apartment building and we all died.
The end!
Yay!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! :)
